The Cloud Engineer/Architect will be responsible leading a data engineering team in delivering data analytics and data platform projects for Vichara’s client. Candidate will work with Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk, Accounting, Business Operations and Marketing team along with the rest of the application development team to gather and analyze requirements and deliver solutions utilizing cloud-based data and analytics platform – AWS, Azure or GCP and Hadoop ecosystem including technologies such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR. The Candidate will be designing and developing of highly scalable data analytics platforms, distributed systems and automated data integration pipelines with the design, development and support of analytics and applications for the client. Client is a large investment manager with assets under management of approximately $500+ billion as of 2020
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field or the equivalent work experience.
